When I saw this book, I didn't waste time to buy it because back in 2008, In my late twenties, I never thought in my life time I would witness The First Black family ever enter the White House and imagine the political, social & inspirational impact President Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama would do in the eight years they were in the white house. In this book you see the down to earth, educated, & classy Michelle Obama in beautiful pictures. This book shows why Michelle Obama is the embodiment of a first lady and a image to little girls, particularly little black girls that anything is possible. This book is a must have and a keeper to show future generations, especially after this past election we had in November 2016. Loved the book so much I bought 4 more copies for my family, and may buy more while copies last. If you want a book of First lady Michelle Obama, this should be in your list, Worth every penny.
I did not purchase this book for myself, it was a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. She is a big fan of First Lady Obama and I could not have chosen a better gift. The book was more like a portfolio of beautiful pictures and articles that captured her for many years.
I am a fan of this first lady. Plain and simple. She was elegant and funny, down to earth and yet brilliant and able to make a convincing case for her position on child development, nutrition and health matters. She represented this country to the world very well. The work and contributions she and Dr. Jill Biden made to the care of military families made me proud. The photographs are lovely, I miss her playing a major role in the public discourse.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. Also, I purchased two more books to share the photographs and events of such an AWESOME First Lady with friends and family. This book is a must to add to the library and keepsake(s) for anyone, who want to revel in the beauty, grace, and class of First Lady Michelle Obama. She makes me so very proud to be an American.December 2016 - January 2017
I highly recommend this book to each and every woman who needs encouragement in loosing weight, finding her indvidual style, a career, building self-confidence and anything else. It is a great confidence booster. Wonderful selection of acitivities are shown of the 1st lady being involved in and styles for the 1st lady are represented beautifully in this book. Buy it; you will not be sorry.
Alas, my house got flooded and this book was a casualty. But, it is wonderful. I may replace it when I have recovered mentally and physically from the flood drama. Water heater broke on the second floor. Beware, check yours frequently. I know have a tankless heater.
